The girls set a stunning 56 personal records in the CAAC championship and 17 at the Second Shave Invitational. The Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2, Girl's Swimming and Diving Championships are at Eastern Michigan Recreational/Intramural Building; 100 Olds/Robb; Ypsilanti MI, 48197We want to be among the first to enter so we don't end up sitting on the floor. Please arrive a little early to get parked and walk to the pool. Here is a timeline based on last year's information:Friday:- 8:35 Arrive at the pool- 9:00 Doors open- 9:00 Ticket sales begin. Doors open to spectators.- 10:00 Warmup begins- 11:15 Diving Warmup Ends- 11:20 One-way sprints lanes open- 11:30 Coaches Meeting- 12:00 Swimming Prelims begin- 3:30 Swimming Prelims end*- 3:50 Diving Warmup begins*- 5:00 Diving Prelims begin*Saturday:- 8:35 Arrive at the pool- 9:00 Doors open- 9:00 Ticket sales begin. This is a fundraiser for the girls' swim and dive team. Adult swimmers pay an entry fee to us to swim in this meet. We run the meet and provide them with a lunch afterwards. We need people to help set up the pool at 8 AM. We need people to work in the office starting at 9:30 AM. We will need a full set of timers. The meet starts at 10 AM. We will need the food set up in the hallway at 10:30. The meet usually goes for a couple of hours and the last people are usually gone by 1 PM. We will need people to help clean up. There will be a signup list on signup genius set out later.Awards NightAwards Night is Sunday, December 7 in the Jr. High Cafeteria. Here is the schedule:
